Hank Locklin Lyrics

There are more Hank Locklin lyrics than you can shake a stick at and many of them were recorded by other famous artists, it’s a tribute to his superb writing skills. To this day his voice endures and what wonderful music he has given us to listen to as well play and sing. Whether or not you’re a fan, browse Hank Locklin lyrics with chords and I bet you’ll find several songs you know.

In 1955 Hank’s career took a dramatic change when he signed with RCA Records. From one of his recording sessions in 1957 came two jewels, one being “Geisha Girl” that stayed on the Billboard Country Charts for 39 weeks and topping at number 4. The other was a remake of “Send Me the Pillow That You Dream On” spending 35 weeks on the Billboard Country Charts topping at number 5.

These country classic song lyrics are the property of the respective artist, authors and labels, they are intended solely for educational purposes and private study only. The chords provided are my interpretation and their accuracy is not guaranteed.

Most of Hanks songs are easy enough for us less gifted guitar pickers to play, some of his less known songs are fantastic. There were so many pretty songs that were never released as singles and received little or no radio time. To me, these are gold nuggets, it’s a pleasure to pick and sing his songs.
