Patsy Cline Lyrics

Patsy Cline image

There has never been a female country artist that had so much popularity for the short time she was with us than Patsy Cline. We only dream of having the quality voice she had and the way she could deliver a song. Her music is still very popular today and it will be so for a very long time. Maybe you are interested in learning some of her songs and if so we have some great lyrics on this web site, visit Patsy Cline lyrics with chords. Her music is really fun to do even if we might not have the ability to sing them as she did.

As a young girl Patsy wanted to become a dancer and was quite good but it wasn’t long until music became her passion. She played piano by ear and never learned notes and seldom knew what key she sang in but she sounded terrific just the same. At the age of thirteen Patsy became very ill with rheumatic fever and developed a serious throat infection. The high fever affected her throat and after recovery she said her voice was much stronger and she loved belting a song like Kate Smith could do. Because of that she had more determination than ever to have a singing career.

These country classic song lyrics are the property of the respective artist, authors and labels, they are intended solely for educational purposes and private study only. The chords provided are my interpretation and their accuracy is not guaranteed.

We built this web site in an effort to keep some of the classic country songs available to the ones of us that enjoy them. When we want to hear these old songs, we either have to play a cd or pick our old guitar and sing them ourselves. Radio seldom ever play our music anymore. Let's keep it going, our kids and grand kids might wake up to the fact it really is great music.
