Patsy Cline Lyrics
There has never been a female country artist that had so much popularity for the short time she was with us than Patsy Cline. We only dream of having the quality voice she had and the way she could deliver a song. Her music is still very popular today and it will be so for a very long time.
Patsy played piano by ear and never learned notes and seldom knew what key she sang in but she sounded terrific just the same. At the age of thirteen Patsy became very ill with rheumatic fever and developed a serious throat infection. The high fever affected her throat and after recovery she said her voice was much stronger and she loved belting a song like Kate Smith could do. Let's keep it going, our kids and grand kids might wake up to the fact it really is great music.
