Johnny Rodriguez lyrics are intended for your personal use only. A few of his songs were part English and part in Spanish, he's very good. These old country lyrics with chords bring back memories. Johnny Rodriguez was born in a small town in deep south Texas. As a young man he got into trouble with the law and while in his cell he would sing. A Texas Ranger noted the quality of his voice and told a promoter about him and that was the beginning of a great musical career.

Tom T. Hall and Bobby Bare heard him sing at a venue and encouraged him to go to Nashville where Mr. Hall introduced him to the heads of Mercury Records. Johnny Rodriguez was the first country music Latin American singer blending his music with Latin sounds and singing verses of songs in Spanish. Through the 1970's and 1980's he was one of country music's most famous artists and has recorded six number 1 hits throughout his career.

Johnny Rodriguez lyrics

Alibis

All American Girl

All I Can Be Is A Sweet Memory

All I Ever Meant to do Was Love You

Answer to Your Letter

As Long As You Keep Clinging To My Mind

Back On Her Mind Again

Baby You're Something

Below The Border

Big Red Sun Blues

Bossier City Backyard Blues

Broken Heartsville

Commonly Known As The Blues

Copus Christie Bay

Dance With Me (just one more time)

Do You Really Want To Know

Don't Be Afraid To Say Goodbye

Down On The Rio Grande

Drifting Away

Drinking Man's Blues

Easy Come Easy Go

Every Night About This Time

First Time Burned

Fooling

Fools For Each Other

Goodbye Marie

Hand On My Shoulder

Hard Times

Hello Love Goodbye

Here I Am Again

Hillbilly Heart

How Could I Love Her So Much

I Can't Get Used To Sleeping Without You

I Couldn't Be Me Without You

I Didn't Every Chance I Had

I Don't Like To Talk About Me

I Fought The Law

I Give My Life A Second Look

I Just Can't Get Her Out of My Mind

I Need It Now

I Think We've Let It Slip Away Again

I Wanna Wake Up With You

I Was Born A Travelin' Man

I Wonder If I Ever Said Goodbye

If I'd Left it up to You

If Practice Makes Perfect

It Might Take A While But I'll Get Over You

It Took Us All Night Long To Say Goodbye

It Was So Easy For You To Say Goodbye

It's Hard To Keep A Good Lie Down

It'll Be Her

I'd Be The First To Fall In Love Again

I'd Build A Bridge

I'll Just Have To Learn To Stay Away

I'm Gonna Make It After All

I'm Not Living With Your Memory Anymore

I'm Not Up To Feelin' Down Tonight

I've Had All The Hurt I Can Take

I've Never Had A Thing That Ain't Been Used

I've Never Loved Anyone More

Jane

Jealous Darling

Jimmy Was A Drinking Kind Of Man

Just Get Up And Close The Door

Leave Me Tomorrow But Love Me Tonight

Leavin' As Fast As I Can Crawl

Leaving Something Left To Do

Let Me Be The First To Know

Let's Leave The Lights On Tonight

Love Ain't Such An Easy Thing To Find

Love And Honor

Love Look At Us Now

Love Me With All Your Heart

Love Put A Song In My Heart

Lyin' Eyes

Mexico Rain

Missing Her Is Easier This Way

Music City Band

My Heart Won't Pay Me No Mind

No News Is Good News

Old Wore Out Cowboys

On The Other Side

One More Chance

Pass Me By

Poison Red Berries

Red Wine and Blue

Riding My Thumb To Mexico

Rodeo Rider

Rose of My Heart

Run For The Border

She Calls It Love

She Don't Cry Like She Used To

She's Too Pretty To Cry

Something About A Jukebox

Somewhere Between Your Heart And Mine

Steppin' Out On You

Take Back It's Over

Take Me Back

Texas Up Here In Tennessee

The Best Thing Going

The Cowboy

The Good Lord Knows I Tried

These Excuses

There'll Always Be Honky Tonks In Texas

They Always Remind Me Of You

Too Late To Go Home

Torn Between Two Lovers

Trade Some Memories

Trying Not To Love You

Victim Or A Fool

We Believe in Happy Endings

We Had A Good Time Trying

We're Over

What A Memory You'll Make

What'll I Tell Virgina

What's New In Old Mexico

Whenever I Start To Fall In Love

When It's Your Turn To Fall

Whiskey Trip

You Always Come Back to Hurting Me

You Beat Any Dream I've Ever Had

You Can Say That Again

You Go Around

You Might Want To Use Me Again

You're A Hero To Me
