These country classic song lyrics are the property of the respective artist, authors and labels, they are intended solely for educational purposes and private study only. The chords provided are my interpretation and their accuracy is not guaranteed. Vern Gosdin lyrics are intended for your personal use only.

Vern Gosdin was born into a musical family and one of six children. He began singing in their hometown church of Woodland, Alabama where his mother played piano. In the early 1960's he and his brother were a duo and hit the charts with the classic "Hangin On". A few years later Vern retired from performing and operated a glass company but he was soon back in the studio recording with the likes of Emmylou Harris and Janie Frickie.

During the 1980's he consistently had songs in the top ten and was truly hitting his stride. In 2008 Vern released his box set which includes 40 years of his great music and even some songs that were never released, it is a great testimony to a special mans career. Vern Gosdin can easily be called the true voice of country music.

Vern Gosdin lyrics

24 Karat Heartache

Ain't It Been Love

After Losing You

All I Want And Need Forever

All That We've Got Left

All The Way Through

Alone

Answers To My Questions

Any Old Miracle

Baby That's Cold

Back In The Swing Of Things

Back When

Better Time To Say Goodbye

Bury Me In A Jukebox

Catch The Wind

Chip Off The Chip Off The Old Block

Chiseled in Stone

Coldest Bedroom

Cowboys Are Common As Sin

Dead From The Heart On Down

Do Me A Favor

Do You Believe Me Now

Don't Ever Leave Me Again

Dream Of Me

Favorite Fool Of All

Fifteen Hundred Times A Day

Fire In Our Bedroom

For A Minute There

Forget Yesterday

Friday Night Feeling

Gone In a Heartbeat

How Can I Believe In You When You'll Be Leaving Me

I Can Tell By The Way You Dance

I Couldn't Love You More

I Fell Off The Wagon

I Guess I Had Your Leaving Coming

I Knew My Day Would Come

I Know The Way To You By Heart

I Was Afraid Of That

I Wish I Had Something

I Wonder Where We'd Be Tonight

If Jesus Came Tomorrow What Then

If You're Gonna Do Me Wrong Do It Right

Impossible Mile

Is It Raining At Your House

It Started All Over Again

It's Beginning To Look Like The End

It's Not Over If I'm Not Over You

It's Not Over Yet

It's Only Love

I'll Try

I'll Understand

I'm Gonna Be Moving

I'm Only Going Crazy

I'm Still Crazy

I've Got A Heart Full Of You

Jesus Don't Turn Me Away

Just Enough To Keep Me Hanging On

Just Give Me What You Think Is Fair

Lady

Lips Speak Up

Love Is Like An Echo

Love Rolled Away The Stone

Loving You Is Music To My Mind

Maybe Then I'll Be Over You

Month Of Sundays

My Baby Sings The Blues

Never My Love

Nickels and Dimes and Love

Nobody Calls From Vegas

Once and For All

Out Of My Heart

Paradise '83

Praying

Rainbows and Roses

Right In The Wrong Direction

Rough Around The Edges

Rustin' Down

Set 'em Up Joe

Sarah's Eyes

Slow Burning Memory

Someone I Can Turn To

Stone Cold Heart

Streets Of Gold

Take Me Home To Alabama

Tanqueray

Tennessee Courage

That Just About Does it Don't it

That Old Silvertone

The Bridge I'm Still Building

The Number He Gave Me Was Mine

The Other Side Of Life

The Rock I'm Leaning On

There Ain't Nothing Wrong

This Ain't My First Rodeo

This Song Wrote Itself

Tight As Twin Fiddles

Till I'm Over Gettin' Over You

Till The End

Time Stood Still

Today My World Slipped Away

Toe To Toe With The Devil

Too Far Gone To Find

Too Long Gone

Took It Like A Man Cried Like A Baby

Two Good People With A Love Gone Bad

Two Lonely Hearts Out Of Hand

Was It Just The Wine

Way Down Deep

We Make Beautiful Music Together

We Must Have Been Out Of Our Minds

Weekends Were Made For Cheating

We're Makin' Up For Lost Time

What A Price I've Paid

What Are You Gonna Do About Me

What I Threw Away

What Would Your Memories Do

When I Need You

When Love Was All We Had To Share

Where Do We Take It From Here

Who I Came Here To Forget

Who You Gonna Blame It On This Time

Without You There's A Sadness In My Song

Would These Arms Get In Your Way

Yesterday's Gone

You Never Cross My Mind

Your Bedroom Eyes

You're Not By Yourself

You've Got Somebody I've Got Somebody

You've Never Been In Love With You
