Gene Watson Lyrics

Gene Watson image

We only have a few of the hundreds of Gene Watson lyrics that are available, but these are some of my favorites. In my opinion he has never received the acknowledgment of being the great country singer he’s due. The man has a tremendous voice and has recorded many country songs that are outstanding. It’s my belief that many country music fans have never heard some of his best songs. Not only does he have great country songs, he’s recorded many country gospel songs that deliver a great message.

These country classic song lyrics are the property of the respective artist, authors and labels, they are intended solely for educational purposes and private study only. The chords provided are my interpretation and their accuracy is not guaranteed.

You don’t have to be a good guitar player or vocalist to enjoy playing and singing these great country classics, the important thing is to enjoy your music. We have a lot of different country artists in our lyrics collection, if you have a favorite singer that’s getting older, we probably have a few songs by him/her.

For those of us who love true traditional country music we can be thankful to Gene Watson for the wonderful songs he gives us. So many of them are timeless classics and such a joy to listen to. Use the country classic lyrics with chords to help you learn new songs. Thanks Gene for keeping it country!!

Gene Watson Lyrics

A Memory Away

A Way To Survive

After The Party

Ain't No Fun To Be Alone In San Antone

All Hat No Cattle

Almost Like Having You Here

And Then You Came Along

Another Beer Drinking Song

Anyway You Want Me

Ashes To Ashes

Atlanta Anymore

Baby Me Baby

Back In The Fire

Beautiful You

Because You Believed In Me

Bedroom Ballad

Before The Hammers Could Ring

Between This Time And The Next Time

Bitter They Are The Harder They Fall

Booked Tonight In Heaven

Bottle Of Tears

Build My Mansion

Call Me Gone

Carmen

Change Her Mind

Climb Higher

Cold Day In July

Cold Summer Day In Georgia

Come Back Home

Couldn't Love Have Picked A Better Place To Die

Cowboys Don't Get Lucky All The Time

Desperation

Don't Look At Me In That Tone Of Voice

Don't Waste It On The Blues

Down And Out This Way Again

Down Here On My Knees

Dreams of a Dreamer

Drinking My Way Back Home

Even At Its Worst It's Still The Best

Everybody Needs A Hero

Everything I Used To Do

Farewell Party

Fighting Fire With Fire

For the First Time

For The Memories

Forever Again

Fourteen Carat Mind

From Cotton To Satin

Full Time Fool

Getting Used To Being Loved Again

Gifted Hand

Give Her My Best

Glass Hearts

Gone For Good

Got No Reason For Going Home

Growing Apart

Harvest Time

Have a Good Day

He Ain't Gone For Good

Her Body Couldn't Keep You Off My Mind

Her Heart Or Mine

Hey Barnum and Bailey

Hold That Thought

Honky Tonk Crazy

How Good A Bad Woman Feels

I Always Get It Right With You

I Catch Myself

I Didn't Think Of You At All

I Don't Know How To Tell Her

I Don't Need A Thing At All

I Don't Think She'd Really Mind At All

I Feel A Sin Coming On

I Fell Apart

I Guess You Had To Be There

I Knew We Could Never Love For Long

I Know An Ending

I Know What It's Like In Her Arms

I Never Go Around Mirrors

I Saved Your Place

I Wonder How It Is In Colorado

I Won't Be Sleeping Alone

If I Painted A Picture

If I Were You I'd Fall In Love With Me

If Love Could Find Us Now

If The Shoe Fits Wear It

If I'm A Fool For Leaving

In Love All Alone

Independence Day

It Don't Hurt Me Half As Bad

It's My Lie

I'd Love To Live With You Again

I'd Settle For Just Crossing Her Mind

I'm Not Strong Enough

I'm Telling Me A Lie

Jesus Is All I Need

John's Back In Town

Just How Little I Know

Just In Case

Just To Hold Her
