This lady has a superb voice and sings great country and country gospel songs with passion and enthusiasm, she's wonderful. Connie Smith will always be best known for her super hit "Once A Day" which spent 8 weeks at number 1 on the Billboards country music charts, the longest for any female country music artist in history. She is still considered by many to be the the best and most underrated vocalist in the history of country music and has often been hailed as the finest voice in country music.

Connie was discovered by Bill Anderson (writer of Once A Day) who heard her perform at a talent contest and was instrumental at getting her a recording contract with RCA Records. As much as she loved singing and a career she always put raising her children first therefore never gaining the recognition of her counterparts. It is such a pleasure to listen to her quality voice and she has so many great songs for us to enjoy.

Connie Smith lyrics

A Far Cry From You

A Heart Like You

A Lonely Woman

A Touch Of Yesterday

Ain't Had No Loving

Ain't It Good To Be In Love Again

Ain't Nothing Shakin' (But The Leaves)

Ain't We Havin' Us A Good Time

Ain't You Even Gonna Cry

As Long As We've Got Each Other

At The Foot Of The Cross

Baby's Back Again

Back In The Country

Be All Right In Arkansas

Because I Love You That's Why

Between Each Tear

Blue Heartaches

Blue Little Girl

Born To Sing

Burning A Hole In My Mind

Cincinnati Ohio

Clinging To A Saving Hand

Come Along And Walk With Me

Coming Around

Crumbs From The Table

Cry Cry Cry

Dallas

Darling Are You Ever Coming Home

Darling Days

Deepening Snow

Did You Let Your Light Shine

Don't Feel Sorry For Me

Don't Forget I Still Love You

Don't Keep Me Lonely Too Long

Don't Make Me Dream

Don't Say Love

Don't Tell Him That I'm Still Crying

Don't Walk Away

Dream Painter

Everybody Loves Somebody

Everything's Found A Home With Me But You

Farther Along

Five Fingers To Spare

For Better Or For Worse

For Goodness Sake It's Love

Go Ahead And Make Me Cry

Go Away Stranger

God Will

Gone Too Far

Gotta A Lotta Blues To Lose

Hearts Like Ours

He Set Me Free

He Touched Me

He Was There All The Time

His Love Takes Care Of Me

Holding On

House Divided

How Long

How Much Lonelier Can Lonely Be

How Sweet It Is

I Can't Get Used To Being Lonely

I Can Stand It (As Long As He Can)

I Can Turn Your World Around

I Can't Remember

I Don't Believe You Love Me Anymore

I Don't Have Anyplace To Go

I Don't Love You Anymore

I Don't Wanna Talk It Over Anymore

I Got A Lot Of Hurting Done Today

I Know You're Going Away

I Love Charlie Brown

I Never Knew What That Song Meant Before

I Never Once Stopped Loving You

I Thought of You

I Run To You

I Still Feel The Same About You

I Will

If I Could Just Get Over You

If I Talk to Him

If It Ain't Love Let's Leave It Alone

If It Ain't Strong Enough

If Teardrops Were Silver

If You Were Mine To Lose

If You Won't Tell On Me
