George Jones Song Lyrics

George Jones image

These are some of my favorite George Jones song lyrics, I know he has hundreds more available but it'll take a long time to do all of them. What can you say about this guy that hasn’t already been said during his fifty plus years of singing country music. I don’t know how many songs he’s recorded, but it includes a lot of great ones. I’m sure you have your favorites by this true legend, browse George Jones song lyrics to see if we have some of them. Maybe you’ll find these lyrics with chords that might help you as you strum your guitar and sing these country classics.

George had his first chart hit in 1955 “Why Baby Why” a song he co-wrote and in 1956 “Just One More” reached number 3 on the chart. He later moved to Mercury Records and had his first number one hit “ White Lightning” in 1959. He hit number one in 1961 with “Tender Years” and She Thinks I Still Care”. In 1967 George recorded one of his biggest hits “Walk Through This World With Me”.

These country classic song lyrics are the property of the respective artist, authors and labels, they are intended solely for educational purposes and private study only. The chords provided are my interpretation and their accuracy is not guaranteed.

When we play a George Jones cd, we know it’s gonna be country, he’s never abandoned his love for pure country music and country gospel songs. And for that, those of us that enjoy real country music, we can be thankful.

George Jones Song Lyrics

The Devil Is Gathering Firewood

The Race Is On

The Right Left Hand

The Rock

The Sea Between Our Hearts

The Visit

The Warm Red Wine

There Ain't No Grave Deep Enough

There's A Friend In The Way

There's No Justice

There's Power In Our Love

There's The Door

These Days I Barely Get By

These Old Eyes Have Seen It All

Things Have Gone To Pieces

This Bottle In My Hand

Tied To A Stone

Together Alone

Too Cold At Home

Too Much Water

Tramp On Your Street

Treasure Of Love

Two Story House

Walk Through This World With Me

Walls Can Fall

Waltz of the Angels

Wandering Soul

We Can Make It

We Didn't See A Thing

We Go Together

We Loved It Away

We're Gonna Hold On

We're Not The Jet Set

We're Putting It Back Together

We're Watching Our Step

What Am I Doing There

What Am I Worth

Whatever Happened To Us

What I Didn't Do

What My Woman Can't Do

White Lighning

When Did You Stop Loving Me

When Mama Sang

When the Grass Grows Over Me

When The Last Curtain Falls

Where Grass Won't Grow

Where The Tall Grass Grows

Who Will I Be Loving Now

Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes

Whole Lot Of Lonesome

Why Baby Why

Wild Irish Rose

Will the Circle Be Unbroken

Will There Be Any Stars In My Crown

Will You Travel Down This Road With Me

Will You Visit Me On Sunday

Wine Colored Roses

Wino The Clown

Wouldn't I

Won't It Be Wonderful There

Wood And Wire

World Of Forgotten People

Wrapped Around Her Finger

Writing On The Wall

Wrong's What I Do Best

Yearning

You And Me And Time

You And Me Together

You Better Treat Your Man Right

You Can't Do Wrong And Get By

You Comb Her Hair

You Couldn't Get The Picture

You Don't Seem To Miss Me

You Must Have Walked Across My Mind Again

You Never Know Just How Good You've Got it

You Must Have Walked Across My Mind Again

You Never Thought

You Oughta Be Here With Me

You're Looking At A Happy Man

You're Still On My Mind

Your Angel Steps Out Of Heaven

Your Heart Turned Left

Your Old Standby

Your Shining Face
