George Jones Song Lyrics

George Jones image

These are some of my favorite George Jones song lyrics, I know he has hundreds more available but it'll take a long time to do all of them. What can you say about this guy that hasn’t already been said during his fifty plus years of singing country music. I don’t know how many songs he’s recorded, but it includes a lot of great ones. I’m sure you have your favorites by this true legend, browse George Jones song lyrics to see if we have some of them. Maybe you’ll find these lyrics with chords that might help you as you strum your guitar and sing these country classics.

George had his first chart hit in 1955 “Why Baby Why” a song he co-wrote and in 1956 “Just One More” reached number 3 on the chart. He later moved to Mercury Records and had his first number one hit “ White Lightning” in 1959. He hit number one in 1961 with “Tender Years” and She Thinks I Still Care”. In 1967 George recorded one of his biggest hits “Walk Through This World With Me”.

These country classic song lyrics are the property of the respective artist, authors and labels, they are intended solely for educational purposes and private study only. The chords provided are my interpretation and their accuracy is not guaranteed.

When we play a George Jones cd, we know it’s gonna be country, he’s never abandoned his love for pure country music and country gospel songs. And for that, those of us that enjoy real country music, we can be thankful.

George Jones Song Lyrics

Half Of Me Is Gone

Half Over You

He Made Me Free

He Never Got The Picture

He Stopped Loving Her Today

Heckle And Jeckle

Hell Stays Open All Night

Hello Heart

Help The People

Her Name Is

Here In The Real World

Here We Are

High Tech Redneck

Home Coming in Heaven

Honky Tonk Myself To Death

Honky Tonk Song

Hopelessly Yours

How Beautiful Heaven Must Be

How Proud I Would Have Been

Hundred Proof Memories

I Always Get Lucky With You

I Can Live Forever

I Can Still See Him In Your Eyes

I Can't Change Overnight

I Don't Go Back Anymore

I Don't Need Your Rocking Chair

I Don't Want No Stranger Sleepin' In My Bed

I Dreamed My Baby Came Home

I Get Lonely In A Hurry

I Gotta Talk To Your Heart

I Just Don't Give A Damn

I Just Lost My Favorite Girl

I Know A Man Who Can

I Made Her That Way

I Must Have Done Something Bad

I Said All That To Say All This

I Sleep Just Like A Baby

I Stopped Living Yesterday

I Turn To You

I Want To Grow Old With You

I Woke Up From Dreaming

I Wonder How John Felt (When He Baptized Jesus)

I Won't Need You Anymore

If Drinking Don't Kill Me

If I Could Bottle This Up

If I Could Hear My Mother Pray Again

If I Could Put Them All Together

If I Don't Love You

If Only You're Eyes Could Lie

If You Believe

If You Want To Wear A Crown

Imitation Of Love

In A Gospel Way

In Person

Into My Arms Again

I'll Never Let Go Of You

I'm Finally Over You

I'll Be Your Stepping Stone

I'll Give You Something To Drink About

I'll Share My World With You

I'm Not Ready Yet

I'm Over You

I'm Wasting Good Paper

I'm Wearing My Heart Away For You

I've Aged Twenty Years In Five

I've Been Known To Cry

I've Had Choices

I've Just Got To See You Once More

I've Still Got Some Hurting To do

It Ain't Gonna Worry My Mind

It Don't Get Any Better Than This

It Hurts As Much In Texas

It's All In My Mind

It's Finally Friday

It's Funny What A Fool Will Do

Jesus Wants Me

Just One More

Just When I Needed You

Keep The Change

King Of The Mountain

Leaning On The Everlasting Arm

Let Him Know

Let There Be Woman

Lonely Christmas Call

Long As We're Dreaming

Long Time To Forget

Lord You've Been Mighty Good To Me

Love Is All We Need

Lovely Place To Cry

Loving You Could Never Be Better

Mama Take Me Home

Mama's Family Bible

Mama's Hands

Maybe Next Christmas

Me and Jesus

Memories Of Us

Memory Is A Flower
