C G7 C
I'll go on loving you don't ask me why

Don't know what else to do don't ask me why

How sad my heart would be if you should go
G7 C
Though you're not good for me I want you so

C7 F C
It's not the kind of love I've dreamed about

Classic Country Music Lyrics home | Wanda Jackson Lyrics

I love Elvis Presley's music, especially when he recorded country songs, but on this one I like Wanda Jackson's version. Elvis' version gets away from me on the chorus where Wanda's is a slow to moderate tempo. Print out the Don't Ask Me Why lyrics and chords, it's really a nice song to pick and sing.
