This lady has a superb voice and sings great country and country gospel songs with passion and enthusiasm, she's wonderful. Connie Smith will always be best known for her super hit "Once A Day" which spent 8 weeks at number 1 on the Billboards country music charts, the longest for any female country music artist in history. She is still considered by many to be the the best and most underrated vocalist in the history of country music and has often been hailed as the finest voice in country music.

Connie was discovered by Bill Anderson (writer of Once A Day) who heard her perform at a talent contest and was instrumental at getting her a recording contract with RCA Records. As much as she loved singing and a career she always put raising her children first therefore never gaining the recognition of her counterparts. It is such a pleasure to listen to her quality voice and she has so many great songs for us to enjoy.

Connie Smith lyrics

In Case You Ever Change Your Mind

In The Valley He Restoreth My Soul

Is This All You Hear

It Only Hurts For A Little While

It's Gonna Rain Today

It's Just My Luck

It's Not The End Of Everything

I'd Rather Be A Fool

I'd Still Want To Serve Him Today

I'll Come Running

I'll Never Get Over Loving You

I'll Still Be Missing You

I'm Sorry If My Love Got In Your Way

I'm Ashamed Of You

Jesus Hears He Cares He Can

Just A Little Sunshine In The Rain

Just For What I Am

Just Let Me Know

Keep On Holding To Those Nail Scarred Hands

Letting Go

Living Without You

Lonesome

Love Has A Mind Of Its Own

Love Held On To Me

Love Is The Look You're Looking For

Love's Not Everything

Loving You Loving Me

Man From Galilee

My Ecstasy

Nobody But A Fool Would Love You

Now

Once a Day

One Day at a Time

Pain Of A Broken Heart

Paper Roses

Plenty Of Time

Only For Me

Only Mama That'll Walk The Line

Run Away Little Tears

Seattle

Senses

Strange

Street Where The Lonely Walk

Sunday Morning

Tell Another Lie

That Makes Two Of Us

The Bridge Of Love

The Call

The Hinges On The Door

The Hurtin's All Over

The Hurt Goes On

The Latest Shade Of Blue

The Laying On Of Hands

The Song We Fell In Love To

The Storms Are On The Ocean

The Sun Shines Down On Me

Then And Only Then

There Will Never Ever Be Another You

There's Something Loney In This House

Threshold

Tiny Blue Transistor Radio

Two Together

Two Empty Arms

Way Upon The Mountain

Wedding Cake

Well It's All Right

Well Of His Mercy

When It Comes To You

Where Is My Castle

While Shepherds Watch Their Flocks

Will The Real Me Please Stop Crying

You And Me

You And Your Sweet Love

You Can't Take Back A Teardrop

You Crossed My Mind A Thousand Times Today

Your Memory Comes Along

You're Gettin' Heavy On My Mind

You've Got Me Right Where You Want Me
